Manpower ricerca per importante multinazionale nel settore Aerospace su Torino un/a

EGSE ENGINEER 

KEY DUTIES 

Define, procure and maintain  operative  EGSE ( means Electrical Ground Support Equipment, the complex test bench for Satellite/Space System test), the major tasks are:
-    Analysis of  satellite electrical  architecture and software functionality 
-    Analysis of satellite test configuration, test needs up to  launch phase in order to define the   EGSE  architecture
-    Define  EGSE requirements,  prepare  specifications for external supplier 
-    Participate   to Supplier selection process   providing   technical  proposal  evaluation 
-    Supplier technical  follow-on  during the procurement phase. 
-    Operate on  EGSE   during  all AIT activities  up  to  launch campaign.
-    Design/develop  test support software (basic library, post processing and analysis tool…)
-    Preparation  and maintenance of satellite DATA BASE for test purpose.
-    Maintain EGSE fully operative,  i.e. new software installation, change broken components, etc..
-    Analysis of EGSE malfunction, issue of NCR (Non Conformance Report),  manage the supplier in order to quickly solve it.
-    EGSE Installation and execution of  commissioning/validation procedure in  all foreseen external site  .
-    External test campaign and launch campaign participation



REQUIREMENTS 

-    Master Degree on electronic engineering or computer engineering.
-    English  fluent 
-    Minimal  experience  on real time process, automated test bench  architecture,  signal/data acquisition.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE 

-    Computer skill  
o    Excellent / good ability  on languages:  C,  Phyton , TCL,   C++,   VisualBasic,  JAVA
o    Network  and protocols (TCP/IP),   firewall  configuration
o    Strong knowledge on operative system Linux/Windows  as  administrator level.
o    Proficiency in  Real Time system and embedded/distributed architectures, parallel programming.  
o    Capability to  operate on Data Base  using SQL language
-     Knowledge on  electronic,  both analog and digital.
-    Ability to use laboratory instruments  (Oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer).
-    Basic knowledge on Satellite/Space system electrical architectural:  typical component/subsystem functionality (i.e. Power SAS/Battery,  AOCS,  DH,  TM/TC signals characteristics, etc… ).
-    Basic knowledge on  satellite data  busses 1553-CAN-etc,  ESA Telemetry/Telecommand CCSDS / PUS data packet standard

-    Organized and methodical approach to the work with strong communication skills
-    Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time  and ability  to work  in team
-    Strong attitude to achieve results within time and cost constraints
-    Problem solving attitude 

JOB LOCATIONS / TIME 

-    Turin site
-    Planned   a  relocation abroad for environmental tests and launch campaign  in Europe and outside Europe. This period  could be 1 year long also.
-    Available for activity on shift   (3 shift  on 7 days  basis)  as need.
